Our annual operating budget was about $1.2 million: 45% from program fees on a sliding scale, 30% from individual donors, 15% from foundations and 10% from government grants.

We served 912 children, gave 214 bursaries and lent 60 instruments. The waiting list for the after-school studio reached 140, which is why the board approved the new arts wing in November.
